What areas does Belknap Electric serve?
We serve northern New Hampshire's North Country, including Coos County and Colebrook, and Vermont's Northeast Kingdom, working on both sides of the Connecticut River from our shop in Colebrook, NH.
Do you work on both commercial and residential projects?
Yes. We handle commercial and residential electrical work, including new construction, fit-outs, service upgrades, lighting, repairs, rewiring and maintenance. Commercial work is a priority for us.
What types of generators do you install?
We sell, install and service Generac standby generators for homes and businesses. A standby generator can take over automatically when the grid goes down.
Can you rewire an older home without damaging the walls?
Yes. We have experience completely rewiring older homes while working around original plaster ceilings and walls to minimize damage wherever possible.
Do you install solar and EV chargers?
We design and install solar energy systems and EV charger installations for residential and commercial properties throughout the North Country and Northeast Kingdom.
Can you upgrade my electrical panel?
Yes. We perform panel upgrades and service changes to bring older systems up to modern loads, often with whole-home surge protection added at the same time.
Do you offer smart home wiring?
We install smart switches, lighting and controls, wired for reliable everyday use and integrated with your home's electrical system.
Where are you located?
Our shop is at 12 NH Rte 145, Colebrook, NH 03576, and we travel to job sites across northern New Hampshire and Vermont's Northeast Kingdom.
